About Dear Charlie

I’m Gabriela — in my 30s, living in Tucson, Arizona, where the mountains are art and the sun has some freakin nerve. I’m newly married, building a small life on purpose, and I care deeply about living well.

I’ve spent enough time researching ingredients, labels, supplements, and protocols to know that more information is not the same thing as wisdom. Sometimes you need someone to just narrow the field.

This blog exists because I tried to optimize my body into submission — training harder, restricting more, and calling stress “discipline.”

The body does not respond well to coercion.

It warns. It whispers. And if necessary, it humbles.

Somewhere in that humbling, I realized I didn’t need more information. I needed fewer, better choices.

Dear Charlie is where I organize what’s actually worth keeping — the products, remedies, rhythms, and resources that hold up under real life, without adding more noise.

Everything here is something I’ve personally used, researched, or would confidently recommend to my own family. This isn’t an exhaustive encyclopedia of wellness. It’s a curated cabinet. You don’t need to overhaul your entire home tonight. Just make a wiser swap when what you have runs out.

If it makes your life simpler and your habits healthier, it’s doing its job.
